Itinerary:

Come have some fun with other ACC families who want to get out one last time before the snow hits.

We will be hiking to Bow Hut and looking for families with kids 7 years and older (age negotiable if you have multiple children).

Because it is shoulder season there is a chance this would be a winter hike so keep that in mind. Last year we got lucky with an early winter storm once we were at the hut.

This is an easy hike and the goal will be for the kids to have fun in an alpine environment. It is an 8km distance with 400m elevation gain, taking 3-5hours. We will likely be doing a group Thanksgiving dinner on Sunday night.

Approximate cost will be $200-$300 per family depending on total registrations.

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Edmonton Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
