New to ACC and looking to meet new climbing buddies? Or just an existing member moving into rock climbing and looking to expand your community?
As ACC-Edmonton members, you get access to the Wilson Climbing Centre every Thursday. As an extention to this, once a month, we'll have a host onsite who can give you a belay and introduce you to the existing community. Look out for the person with the ACC Hat and say hi!
| Required Items to Bring: |
What this is not: - This is not a top rope / lead climb class. To climb at this facility, you will need to pass the top rope certification / lead certification administered by the facility. If you're looking to learn, check out programs at the UoA, Factory, or Vertically Inclined. - Hosts are not permanent belayers - they are there to help you find your climbing community and have no obligation to give you a catch.
| Recommended Items to Bring: |
Bring your harness, climbing shoes and chalk bag.
Refer to the main calendar event for more information in regards to access, cost and check-in requirements at the facility. https://calendar.accedmonton.ca/Event/Detail?eventId=499
Registration is preferred, but not mandatory - it would be good to know who to expect!
