Join us for a sport climbing adventure in Nordegg! This trip is open to climbers with prior outdoor sport climbing experience. We'll explore some of the great limestone crags in the area and enjoy a full day of climbing in the beautiful mountains.
Accommodation:
You are responsible for your own accommodations. We will be camping on one of the crownland campsites and you are welcome to join us.
Required Equipment:
Please bring all your personal sport climbing gear, including:
Climbing harness
Climbing shoes
Helmet (mandatory)
Belay device (with locking carabiner)
Chalk bag
Appropriate clothing, food, water, and daypack.
All participants must be familiar with climbing and belaying outdoors. Let us know if you have any questions about gear or experience requirements.
Notes:
Rock climbing is a dangerous activity with inherent risks, including serious injury or death. By participating in this trip, you acknowledge and accept the risks involved, including but not limited to:
Falls and gear failure
Loose rock and falling debris
Dehydration, sun exposure, and fatigue
Wildlife encounters
Navigation errors
You are responsible for your own safety and decision-making. Participation implies acceptance of these risks.

Waiver and Membership Requirement
Participation in this activity is subject to you having a current membership and a current signed
ACC Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risks Agreement (the “Waiver”), which is signed in conjunction with purchasing/renewing your membership.
A separate Waiver is not required. Your membership Waiver in place at the time of the activity will apply to your participation in this activity. You can review your completed waiver by logging onto your profile at alpineclubofcanada.ca. If your
membership renews prior to the activity taking place, you will be required to agree to a new Waiver upon renewal, this new Waiver will apply to your participation in this activity. By proceeding with the booking, you agree to the foregoing waiver terms. Bookings
without a current Waiver at the time of the activity will be cancelled.
