Itinerary:

We meet at Owen Creek Trailhead Saturday 19th July at 8am. 

Backpack to Michele Lakes ~11.5Km with 1100 meter elevation gain. Camp overnight. 

Next day morning, start an early scramble to catch sunrise from the peak north of the upper lake. 

Return to camp, pack up and return to trail head. 


Scramble portion (from camp to the north peak) is a easy gentle hike, just it might be in the dark before the sun is up. 


Car pooling is available. 


There is no cost to camping, however Alberta Camping permit is required which can be bought online. 
Required Items to Bring:

Backpacking gear for a single night overnight trip. 

Some items can be shared like stove, etc.
