Layers appropriate for the expected forecast (e.g. puffy, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, rain pants, rain/wind jacket) Approach shoes or hiking shoes/boots for the hike up Chalk (optional)
Pole (optional) Bear spray (recommended)
Large pack (optional, but can leave at the base of the climb and can be more comfortable to hike with than the small pack used during the climb)
We may be able to assist participants in the guided group with gear. All independent climbers are expected to be self-sufficient.
Some snacks are provided but participants are responsible for their own meals. Participants are responsible for their own camping gear, but please reach out if you need support with this.
