Plans for drive from Edmonton to Lake Louise will be discussed closer to the dates and depending on interest and availability for car pooling. Meet up location and time will also be communicated closer to the dates.
We take the shuttle to Paradise valley trail head. Based on recent information from Parks Canada, the shuttle is included in the Camping permit.
Paradise valley Camping permits will be secured 'one day' before the trip as per the rules of Parks Canada. Our hiking / backpacking / Scrambling plan is as follows:
please note our return trail head (Lake Moraine) is not the same as the starting (paradise valley)

This trip includes backpacking and overnight stay at Paradise valley campsite. The campsite can be booked only 24 hours as per rules from Parks.

Notes: |
We will keep our heavy packs at sentinel pass as we go for the summit. Please bring appropriate covers for your backpacks so small animals do not try to chew their way in to the packs for food. We will be keeping them only for few hours.
