Come join us for an exciting day of learning the ropes of outdoor trad climbing in beautiful Canmore! This event is perfect for beginners looking to expand their climbing skills beyond the gym walls. Our volunteers will lead you through the basics of setting up gear, placing protection, and making your way up the rock. Get ready to enjoy the fresh air, stunning views, and the thrill of climbing in a natural setting. Don't miss out on this opportunity to take your climbing to new heights! . Prerequisites: Previous sport climbing experience. Experience setting and cleaning outdoor rock anchors. Can climb 5.10- comfortably on lead outside.
Once participants are accepted they need to e-transfer $50 to organizer and then they will be added to the trip. Fees cover cost of camping, costs for leaders, and group gear costs.

Participation in this activity is subject to the participant having signed the

Members participating in this activity do not require a separate Waiver.
Your membership Waiver in place at the time of the activity will apply to your participation in this activity. If your membership renews prior to the activity taking place, you will be required to agree to a new Waiver upon renewal, this new Waiver
will apply to your participation in this activity. By proceeding with the booking, you agree with the forgoing waiver terms. You can review your completed waiver by logging onto your profile at alpineclubofcanada.ca.
