Friday: Drive out to Jasper, campsites booked at Wabasso Campground Saturday: Crag day! Kerkeslin Crag Sunday: Crag day and then drive back to Edmonton

Harness Belay device Helmet (required) Personal attachemnt (PAS, Petzel Connect. Purcell prusik) Climbing shoes Chalk bag Separate rappel device if using an assisted belay (eg a GriGri) is helpful

We will have club ropes but feel free to bring your own; a 60m will do but a 70m is better Quickdraws Sport anchor equipment: If you don't have a set, we recommend visiting Track'n'Trail or MEC to get two plain and one locking carabiners and a 120cm sling

This is the RPP Intro to Sport Crag! This Rock Progression session is ideal for people who've learnt to lead in the gym and want to get out on real rock.
This course will be geared at 5.6-5.8 single-pitch sport.
The course leaders will be offering a pre-weekend session in Edmonton to cover anchoring, cleaning, lowering and more. Date/time to be determined based on participant and leader availability.

Waiver Requirement
Participation in this activity is subject to the participant having signed the
ACC Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risks Agreement (the “Waiver”). The Waiver is a legal document in which you waive or give up the right to sue or claim compensation following an accident. PLEASE READ IT CAREFULLY!
Members participating in this activity do not require a separate Waiver.
Your membership Waiver in place at the time of the activity will apply to your participation in this activity. If your membership renews prior to the activity taking place, you will be required to agree to a new Waiver upon renewal, this new Waiver
will apply to your participation in this activity. By proceeding with the booking, you agree with the forgoing waiver terms. You can review your completed waiver by logging onto your profile at alpineclubofcanada.ca.
