This weekend will be for those looking to climb some steeper ice. Anticipated locations will be at the Balfour Wall and Cline River Gallery, subject to change based on conditions.

Clothing - Wool and/or Synthetic Socks
- Base Layer Top - Synthetic, wool or silk
- Base Layer Bottoms - Synthetic, wool or silk
- Mid-Insulation Layer Top - Pile (fleece), light synthetic fill or wool sweater/jacket
- Mid-Insulation Layer Bottom - Pile pants, farmer-johns or multipurpose pants
- Weather Layer Top - Gore-Tex or other waterproof breathable jacket
- Weather Layer Pants - Gore-Tex or other waterproof breathable pants
- Warm Belay Jacket - Down or synthetic
- Toque - Wool or Synthetic to fit under helmet
- Face Warmer - Scarf, neck tube, face mask
- Light Gloves - Wool, synthetic
- Insulated Gloves or Mitts - Wool or synthetic, w/ weather proof outershell
- Extra Gloves/Mitts - in case your main pair gets wet
- Gaiters

It would be appreciated if you have cordelette, locking carabineers, quickdraws, and ice screws that you bring for use by the group.

Each day of climbing will start from the HI Nordegg, Shunda Creek Wilderness Hostel parking lot. Carpooling from the hostel to our objective can be arranged between participants at the event. Book your own accommodation for this event. Food is the responsibility of each trip participant. Breakfast and supper will be at the hostel. Prepare your lunch for out in the wilderness. There are limited food options in the Nordegg area.

Waiver and Membership Requirement
Participation in this activity is subject to you having a current membership and a current signed
ACC Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risks Agreement (the “Waiver”), which is signed in conjunction with purchasing/renewing your membership.
A separate Waiver is not required. Your membership Waiver in place at the time of the activity will apply to your participation in this activity. You can review your completed waiver by logging onto your profile at alpineclubofcanada.ca. If your
membership renews prior to the activity taking place, you will be required to agree to a new Waiver upon renewal, this new Waiver will apply to your participation in this activity. By proceeding with the booking, you agree to the foregoing waiver terms. Bookings
without a current Waiver at the time of the activity will be cancelled.
