Notes:
Join us in celebrating mountain culture with an evening of storytelling from adventurers sharing their journeys from across the globe.
Every year since 1907, The Alpine Club of Canada releases the Canadian Alpine Journal (CAJ), which captures the heart of the climbing community with details routes, inspiring achievements and stunning photography. This year, we’re bringing those stories to life – inviting the people behind the featured CAJ stories (and ACC grant recipients) to share their experience in person.
With a special presentation from The Alpine Club of Canada, drinks by donation and epic prizes, this event is a must for every outdoor enthusiast.
MEET THE SPEAKERS:
Eva Capozzola: Liminal Spaces
Originally from New York, Eva is based in Golden, B.C. She is an ambassador for Arc’teryx Alberta, and with their support is offering High Angle Photography Clinics for underrepresented creatives in the Bow Valley. She is a co-founder of Dirtbabe Collective, which offers climbing camps that address financial and experiential barriers to the alpine. Eva has been on expeditions in Alaska, the Yukon and Greenland and has worked in Vietnam, Nepal, India, Uganda, Rwanda, and Kenya.
Everyone is welcome - we can't wait to see you there.
