Meet at the Trailhead of the Approach to the Whirlpool Crag in Nordegg. Climb. Hang out at the Crag. Do cool stuff.

The Plan… Sat, May 11, 2024: Meet at Whirlpool Crag turnout at 8:30am (52.00719, -116.4591) The plan is to head up into Whirlpool and climb for the day. I will be free camping at Paradise River Lands on Friday night and anyone is welcome to join (it is just a 5 min drive from the meeting place in the AM). If you have any questions, reach out via email roffeyc@gmail.com About a week out, we will create a Whatsapp group to chat and work out details.
Prerequisites / Courses Required: Need to be able to safely top rope belay. If we haven't met you, please contact us with the name of the gym you have your belay check with.

Climbing Harness, Helmet, Belay Device, Shoes, Water, Lunch, Snacks, and any other climbing gear you wish to bring.

Sunglasses, sunscreen, warm jacket (maybe) and all the STOKE!!! ...plus anything else you need to enjoy a day at the crag!

Participation in this activity is subject to the participant having signed the

Members participating in this activity do not require a separate Waiver.
Your membership Waiver in place at the time of the activity will apply to your participation in this activity. If your membership renews prior to the activity taking place, you will be required to agree to a new Waiver upon renewal, this new Waiver
will apply to your participation in this activity. By proceeding with the booking, you agree with the forgoing waiver terms. You can review your completed waiver by logging onto your profile at alpineclubofcanada.ca.
Non-members participating in this activity will be required to review and agree to the Waiver prior to participating in the activity. The current version of the Waiver can be viewed here alpineclubofcanada.ca/acc-waivers/. The Waiver will be
