Itinerary: |
Come out for a day of climbing in Kananaskis. This trip is suitable for beginners as well as experienced climbers that just want to warm up for the climbing season. You can lead if you want, or we will set up top ropes for anyone that prefers that. There is also a practice anchor at ground level, so it's a good place to practice any skills you are working on. If you want to ask any questions, it's a good place to do it.
There is a wide range of climbing grades available (from 5.4 to 5.11a) and enough routes for a good day regardless of what your comfort zone is. There is also a couple of short multi-pitch routes (3-4 pitches) and even one trad route if I remember correctly. Approach is a fairly easy 15 minute hike. More details can be found here (note that not all routes are listed).
Since this is still early season, the event will be weather-dependent, but we should be able to make it work. Further details will be sent out over Whatsapp.
