Ideal trip participants are members interested in leading ice climbing weekends for the ACC but have not yet or want to hone their skills on trip leading logistics/soft skills for the ACC along with ideas and strategies for running a successful ice climbing in the field. We will go through essentially everything required to run a trip with you and also plan to visit multiple high yield ice climbing venues within the Bow Valley, locations TBD and dependent on group structure/previous experience.

Registrants please feel free to plan carpooling/accommodations as you please however we do suggest staying at the Canmore Clubhouse with the team for full experience. Accommodation fees at Canmore Clubhouse will be shared with participants once confirmed.

Any questions including to inquire if this trip would be right for you please feel free to reach out to myself at chair@accedmonton.ca. We look forward to having you at the event.

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Edmonton Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
