Required Items to Bring:

Normal climbing items and helmet. Everyone needs crampons that use the metal bails in front and back. Pre-fitted and mono point ideally. 50% of us need tools ideally the technical type and T rated picks. The slightly curved ones with bottom palm piece are ok for alpine type practice. No straight ones without the bottom piece.

Tools and crampons can be rented at www.yegice.ca/rentals - email them in advance

Notes:

Need to be able to top rope belay.  As of Oct 9th there are 3 from GMMC.

It will be a beginner level but come along as long as you're all good with that. I won't be leading on climbs but others may. We will be favoring TR accessible areas.

Coordinating thru What's App so you'll need that on your phone and I'll need your digits.

It'll be as many folks as reasonably possible based on number of experienced (even on rock) folk that signed up. If it looks full then please use the waitlist.

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Edmonton Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
