Itinerary: |
Headed down to the David Thompson region to hike/scramble (mostly hike) up little Abraham. Elevation gain is 810m and requires full sunlight, so an early start on Saturday it is! (8am) This hike is steep and the scramble has some brief sections of small exposure, so not really for the faintest of hearts.
We will go at a slower pace with breaks as needed. I’m not a drill Sergeant. Some bushwhacking is required.
After the hike/scramble we can enjoy a fire at one of the great camp spots in the area. It will be chilly, so prepare for winter conditions.
We can arrange car pooling, and don’t forget we all need our camp permits

Please let the coordinator know ASAP if you need to cancel
*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Edmonton Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
