Itinerary: |
The QCC (Queer Climbing Collective) and the RPP have
teamed up to run an intermediate sport climbing trip. This is an
inclusive trip that provides a safe space for the 2SLGBTQ+ community and
their ally friends to get outdoors and climb some rock! We will be
climbing in Jasper on July 29th and 30th and we are staying at Whistlers
campground. We have a total of 3 sites booked, so you can join us at
the campground, so there's no stress in finding a spot to stay.
The
trip leaders will be car pooling to Jasper on Friday, July 28th. We can
help connect participants for car pooling to bring the cost of the trip
down. We will have a maximum of 12 people on the trip, 4 QCC leaders
and 8 participants. Camping costs will be $30 per person.
If you are not familiar with how to build anchors and clean routes, a mandatory demo will be held on July 18th at 7pm in Rundle Park.

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Edmonton Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
