Weekend of traditional multi-pitch climbing with myself and Maison Leitch as trip leaders. We would prefer participants to have at least beginner trad and multi pitch experience. If not enough members come forward with these types of experiences, we are happy to set the trip up to the level of experience of participants who sign up (switching to only trad or sport multi).
Likely two days of multi pitch traditional climbing depending on weather, location TBD as above. Participant should have experience lead climbing outdoors, rock rescue experience preferred.
For accommodations plan will be to camp at associated area with information on camping to follow once registered.
All interested participants should apply and include experience you think is applicable to the trip and what your goal would be with attending. We are hoping to provide two quality days of learning to ACC members interested in becoming more confident and more self-sufficient in their trad/multi pitch climbing, but as above we are happy to tailor the event to the group depending on applicant experience levels.
If you are having difficulty creating your ACC Edmonton account, feel free to reach out to me at david.moon762@gmail.com with a screenshot of your membership card with expiry date from ACC National and I will register or add you to the waitlist manually.
If you have any questions of course feel free to reach out as well. Look forward to seeing you on the trip.
Required Items to Bring:
Rock climbing gear - personal gear including harness and helmet, rock shoes. If trad gear/rope/draws are owned they can be brought but are not required as we will supply this equipment as needed.
