Itinerary:

Lets meet at 5:30 at the Staging area.   We can ski by a variety of trails to Meadow Cabin, stop for a break and return to the parking area via a shorter route about 8:30 approx.   Our plan is to see the Fullish Moon rise.  

Required Items to Bring:

Nordic ski gear,  appropriate clothing for layering,  headlamp, fluids, snacks for fuel,  Car pool money .

How to Get There:
Event Directions:  

Follow 82 ave East through Sherwood Park and continue on Wye Rd (Highway 630) directly East until the road makes a distinct bend to the right (South) .   Turn left (East) across the railway on Twp. Rd 524 (signposted Uncas School) and continue about 7.5 km until the T-junction at Rge Rd 210.   Turn right (South) and drive about 400m then turn left (East) into the staging area.   It is about a 45 Minute drive from Mid Whyte Ave.

Carpool Location:   Bonnie Doon Mall parking lot.
Carpool Directions:  

Bonnie Doon mall is on 82 Ave and 83 st.   We will meet on the South side of the lot directly along 82 Ave.    Contact me  if you are looking to carpool so I have some passenger numbers.   


Notes:

You must be at least a beginner ( snow plow and stopping ability) cross country skier to participate.   The trails  may or may not have been groomed.   Be prepared for any snow conditions.   Be prepared to ski for 3 hours,  check your fitness level please.  We don't have to ski fast,  but there will be about 12-15 km covered during the trip.  




*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons. The Edmonton Section of the ACC is a not for profit club and we only charge attendees what it costs us to provide courses or trips.
