Itinerary:

Friday, March 3 (optional): You are welcome to head down David Thompson area and free camp at Preacher's Point. Cory will be getting down there around 9-10pm (maybe earlier if I can swing it)... we should be able to all camp together. THIS WOULD BE WINTER CAMPING AND YOU NEED ALL YOUR OWN GEAR AND EQUIPTMENT TO CAMP. You are of course free to set up your own accommodations elsewhere or even drive up Saturday AM… but winter camping is fun (if you have the gear) and it is always a good time hanging out as a group!

Saturday, March 4th: Meet at Balfour approach spot along Highway 93A at 7:15am. The plan is to be making the way up the approach at 7:30am so we don't get scooped!! All ropes can be set from the top. There is no need to know how to lead climb or even rappel.

Camp overnight again at Preacher's Point for those interested.

Sunday, March 5th: Meet at Cresent Falls Parking Lot at 7:15am. The plan is to be making the way up the approach at 7:30am so we don't get scooped!! .

This is the general plan as of now, but may change based on conditions.

There is no cost for this trip. We ask that you cancel as soon as possible so someone from the waitlist can take the spot.

*Cancellation Policy*: If a participant is unable to attend a paid course or trip, there will be no refund unless the participant finds a suitable replacement that is acceptable to the trip coordinator. Acceptable waiting list candidates will have priority. It will then be the participant's responsibility to recover funds from the replacement. If the coordinator cancels an event, participants get a refund (less any non-recoverable costs). Note that ACC National does not refund hut fees due to weather, delay, closures, or any other reasons.
